Misc Lex Pack questions...

I've looked at multiple images of the Lex Pack this afternoon, and I've found some inconsistencies. It seems the fabrics and features have changed over the past couple years. I have found images of the pack with and without a laptop compartment. I am ready to buy one right now through the Build Your Own Bag section, but need to know if there is a laptop compartment first. This is a make-or-break feature.

Also, a couple questions about the fabrics:

Is there a large difference in quality, or feel between the Ballistic and Lightweight X-Pac fabrics? I prefer the looks of the Lightweight fabrics, and am more than willing to pay the extra cash to have if they are as durable as the Ballistics.

Is there a big difference between the reflectivity of the Reflective Matrix fabrics and the Reflective Covert fabrics (used on the special Covert Classic Messenger bag)? Is the Covert MORE reflective or something? The only photos that demonstrate the reflectivity of a particular fabric are of the Covert—Matrix fabrics seem to take a back-seat to the Covert in the photos.

This is by far the best pack I've come across (I used a Lex Pack from REI, size medium, for a couple days and fell in love with it, however, it was too small for commuting needs, which is why I'd like to get a bigger better Lex Pack).
