My velcro won't stick!
I have a new bag that was given to me by a friend. It is in excellent plus condition with no signs of wear at all. The velcro strips look new and are totally clean, yet they don't stick very well. I tried the ebay link for "combing" the hooks but there is nothing to comb since it is totally clean.
What should I do?

Inappropriate? That is wierd. My first thought is you have either all hooks or all loops (in other words, they are identical on both sides). that seems almost impossible though.
I would take it to a Timbuk2 retailer and see if they can offer advice. If all else fails fill out our warranty form (http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/retail/war...) and send it to us for a look see.
I’m furrowing my brow in confusion.

Inappropriate?Thom,
First most bags use a generic form of Hook and Loop.
Second Velcro is not a product, but a company name. Hook and loop is the product. I know everybody calls all hook and loop product "Velcro", but unless you see Velcro(r) trademark symbol with the words brand fastener it is not a Velcro(r) brand fastener.
If your Hook and Loop closure does not close properly, I would suggest taking it back to where it was purchased and discuss with them.
Thank you for using the proper name in the future.
Yes, I work for the company and too many people use or company name improperly. Thank you for your nderstanding.
