PET Underground Daypack laptop pocket small

I bought a PET Underground Daypack. My Dell Latitude D630 fit very very tight in it. How come it is tight like that? According to the spec my laptop should fit nicely. I am planning to return the bag since I am struggling each time I need to put or take out my laptop. Size of the laptop is 13.5x10 (with small wriste rest attach to the battery)

Yeah it should fit. What is the depth (thickness) of the laptop? That could be an issue as the Underground has a max depth of 1.5"

The thickness of my laptop is 1.5". I can insert the laptop in the sleeve, but is it very very tight. It;s even harder to remove it from the sleeve. I wish the sleeve was a bit loose.

Meanwhile i have return the bag. I have a commuter that I really like. I bought the Underground because I am on crutches since March and expecting to be until end of June.
