I am looking for a messenger bag with laptop sleeve for a 14. 25in X 10.75 in X 1.75in laptop (Toshiba 15.4 display diagonally).

Inappropriate?If you're looking for most waterproof, you'll probably want to go with the laptop messenger rather than the commute, as that has the waterproof liner the commute doesn't have. That means the regular laptop messenger, the Hemp/PET laptop messengers, and the Wool laptop messenger. So now you just have to choose based on material and/or price.
