Takin' care of hemp?
I just bought the Hemp Market tote (it's fabulous)! Is it washable? Can I have the exterior Scotchgaurded to protect it from the elements? What is the best way to care/clean it?

This is a direct link and there is a blurb about caring for the Hemp and specialty fabrics that you can check out. Long and the short of it is that Hemp and similar specialty fabrics are best cared for with spot cleaning. As for the Scotch-guarding, if you feel really strongly about applying it, I would apply it in a small area to test it first before covering the whole bag, however if there are adverse affects directly related to this it could possibly void any warranty, so keep that in mind.
