Underground day pack

I bought an Underground day pack on 12/31 from REI. Less than a year old, and the left shoulder strap is half-ripped off, and the strap in between the shoulder straps is hanging on by four threads. I use the bag every day for bicycle commuting, but I have had other bags last for years without the straps falling apart. I am disappointed so far with my first timbuk2 bag.
Do I have any case here - should I just go to a tailor and have it resewn? UGH!!!

Sorry to hear about your strap, that sounds crazy! If you don't want to part with your bag, you can go to a tailor and have it repaired, but your bag is covered under our warranty, so as long as you can part from it for 1-2 weeks, all you have to do is follow the warranty instructions linked below to get a brand new bag.
