What material is used on the back panel of the Commute bags?
Am I wrong, or is the back of the Commute bags (the molded, vented back panel) cordura, even if you order a ballistic nylon bag? (even if the bag itself is ballistic nylon).
The cordura is like a pet hair magnet, so I'm looking into bags that are made with the ballistic nylon, so I just wanted to confirm what material is used for the back of the Commute bags as that will be a deal breaker for me.

Inappropriate?gchet,
I've got a commute bag from a few years ago and I'm a little disappointed with it. The back panel is a molded vented foam (channels molded into it so it breathes better) coverd by a real thin nylon layer (it's not either the cordura or ballistic nylon). This thin nylon layer has since worn through on the left edge from top to bottom where it rubs against my body. While this hasn't damaged the underlying foam yet, I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I'm sure this nylon will not attact pet hair, although the vents might hold onto it (mine are kinda dusty).
One important point why I haven't replaced it with a Messenger bag, the Commute has a zipper pocket across the back panel. I love this pocket and the Messenger bag doesn't have it.

Inappropriate? The back of the Commute padding is a nylon/stretch fabric.
