Inappropriate?I believe it was a spoof on the band Timbuk3 who Rob Honneycut, founder, liked. I remember him telling me the story once but am sketchy on the details.
I’m Ms. Short Term Memory.

Inappropriate?i personally like to think that is where I bags can take you, from here to Timbuktu. My mom used to use that line a lot of things that lasted. Sort of like our bags!
I’m wishing i had a cupcake!

Inappropriate?Wow. Traveling to Timbuktu is not a good idea. I guess that's why you need a really good pack. (^_~)

Inappropriate?it always sounded exotic to me. Rich in history but not sure I wanna go there!

Inappropriate?Super informative. What a crazy history.
So I guess the moral is a Timbuk2 bag could make it all the way to Timbuktu if you wanted it to. But would you want it to?
