Why are there so few colors in the BagBuilder?
I had been planning on buying a timbuk2 for months and figured out the perfect color combinations in the build your own bag section. I went to the website today and realized that all the colors I was going to pick were gone. I don't like any of the remaining colors. What happened? Is this temporary?
I feel very sad and annoyed. If the colors don't come back I don't think I'll get a timbuk2.

I liked Emerald and leaf green and they are both gone now -
I miss khaki, lavender, plum, and blackberry.

I love the blackberry/plum/lavender combination. I would also love to be able to combine 3 colors of green, such as emerald, leaf green and spinach.

Dear Timbuk2,
I love the new pattern choices, but all the lighter colours are gone that could possibly match the new fabrics! Argh!!! I would love ALL the choices that were there before in addition to the new colours. I sure hope they come back soon so I can design the bag that I really love and not just one I am settling for! I am willing to pay the price as I have heard wonderful things about the product, but will not settle for something I don't love! Bring back the colours and you have me as a customer!!!!

Inappropriate?I miss the softer/lighter colors... such as mocha.. khaki... light blue... I had planned to get a new cargo tote to match my mocha/blue messenger after Christmas but when I started building all the nice colors were gone.. ;-(
Now nothing really look good... can't wait for the new batch of colors this summer...

Inappropriate?The same thing happened to me! I had a bag designed with black, a pretty plum color, and the orange wire fabric. Now I can't find a color I like to replace the plum and I'm afraid the orange wire fabric is going to go away! I am disappointed.

Inappropriate?*raising hand* I have a small classic messenger and now find I need at least a medium, but I'm not a fan of the new colors so I wind up playing around in the bag creator and then eventually getting distracted and wandering off the site. Bring back blackberry, plum, rose, and lavender, please!!

Inappropriate?I ended up buying a medium Cargo Tote bag in blackberry, plum, and lavender on eBay instead of a custom medium Cargo Tote or Messenger Bag because I couldn't get the colors that I wanted in the Bag Builder. Although I am happy to get a Timbuk2 bag in colors I want, I would rather spend that money directly with Timbuk2 than with a reseller. I'm sure that Timbuk2 would prefer that too.

Inappropriate?Wow, I just came back to the TimBuk2 site as well after being totally sold last year, with all the color combination choices. I was ready to get a new Custom Laptop Messenger for my new Lappy, but there's no way I am going to settle on what color choices remain. Why can you get a pre-fab bag with certain colors on the main panels (such as blackberry) that are not available in the bagbuilder options?

Inappropriate?I too had created a bag that I loved last year. I just came onto the website to buy it and the colors that I loved are gone. I don't want to settle for something I sort of like.

Inappropriate?Like a plate of brownies on the table.. if you see something you like... you gotta act quick. Colors, fabrics and styles are in seasons and sometimes once they're gone they're gone for good. We will have 3-4 color updates every year. The good thing is that we do often bring colors back. The next update for fall will be the 3rd or 4th week of September.
