Inappropriate?The stores are:
1) Robinson Centrepoint - 4th floor luggage dept.
2) Isetan Parkway Parade - 2nd floor men's wear dept.
3) Tang's Orchard - 3rd floor luggage dept.

Inappropriate?Maybe you could consider buying it online and having it shipped to you. Timbuk2 is pretty expensive in Singapore. Even if you buy it from Timbuk2.com with US$50 shipping, it can still be cheaper than buying it in Singapore for certain items, especially if you buy multiple items. Also, if you buy now, you may get the older stock that doesn't come with the strap pad, which will cost S$30 more should you want it.
Take advantage of the low exchange rate.

Inappropriate?I bought my medium messenger for S$179 at full local retail(It cost US$70 at the time). The person who offers a 15% discount doesn't offer the market tote. For e.g. though, a medium commute costs S$219, but it costs US$100 in America(+US$50 shipping that's S$210, still cheaper than you can get it anywhere in Singapore).
I’m amused that someone thinks the exchange rate is US$1-S$2.20

Inappropriate? If it matters to you, Timbuk2 bags sold in Singapore are made in China/Vietnam. If you buy a classic messenger from the site however, I believe they're made in SF.
-
Inappropriate?I don't have one too, and that's why I bought it locally. :( Could you get someone to buy it for you? If you're just buying the regular messenger however, its about a S$50 difference if you go with the seller who gives 15%. The laptop bags on the other hand, have the really really ridiculous prices.
I’m hoping you can find your perfect timbuk2!

Inappropriate?Jag, what exchange rate you using? the bag i am looking at is US$123, with the shipping charges will be US$178. using exchange rate of 1.42, it will be S$253 leh... =( the shipping cost is very ex!
I’m wanna get it cheap..
-
Inappropriate?i think singaporean should just buy from local retails or dealers for non custom bags.
as for custom bags, well it rocks but how ever it will set you back around 270.
I’m Expensive

Inappropriate?Lately, i have been toying with the site to check out the price of built-your-own bag, and i find that it will be more worth it if you are buying more than 1.. and it cost around S$200 (+/-) for one medium messenger bag..
But, think about it, if its tat difficult to get the colour that you want from retail, then why not get it from the site.. It will be a special bag !
perhaps, we can do a bag-pool, and split the shipping cost..
I’m thinking of getting ANOTHER TIMBUK2 BAG !!!
