Why no gussets on the classic messenger bag?
I love the commute laptop bag as it truly defines the nearly waterproof qualities I need living on the West Coast. But, why make a bag like the classic messenger with great waterproof fabric without adding gussets to the lid. Riding around with a full bag, the sides of the bag gape open and let all the rain in only to puddle in the bottom of the bag. I want a classic messenger bag with the great design features of the commuter laptop bag, without the laptop part. How about an updated version of the classic?!

Inappropriate?Hi Ange,
Word on the street is there's a Commute Messenger 2.0 in the works. We don't have dates, but it will address your issues.
I’m happy

Thanks Megan. I hope you come out with it soon. I returned the Classic a few months after purchasing it because of this West Coast unfriendly feature. One other suggestion: how about making the cross strap standard issue in the commute laptop bag? I sell lots of these bags but without the cross strap it makes biking with the bag difficult. (I know you can order it separately but a bit more of a pain here in Canada.) -
Hi Megan, a Commute Messenger would be the perfect bag for me. Actually it is what I am looking for since weeks. Do you have an idea about when you will sell this bag aprox.? Thanks flo
