XL laptop sleeve too small for 17" MBP?

I just received a XL laptop sleeve, and my 17" MacBook Pro barely fits. It takes significant force to get it in. Is this normal?

Have you checked out the Wiki - http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/l... It's the ultimate sleeve, super sleek and cool.
Our current sleeves tend to fit PC's better.
