TIVO Freezes on lost network connection.
I have a Series 3 HD Tivo.
While watching a NetFlix (instant) movie, we lost our network connection. The TIVO froze/crashed hard; black screen, unresponsive to any inputs on remote or on the console front panel.
After pulling the plug and rebooting, it froze again after getting to the "dancing TIVO" (he stopped dancing and the front panel clock froze).
Only after fixing my network connection was I able to successfully reboot the TIVO (after that, I was impressed that restarting the movie worked great and started where we left off).
Expect:
- No hard lock up on lost network connection - should display error message.
- Some sort of error message on reboot when no network connection available.

Inappropriate?I have a Tivo HD and experienced the same problem the other day when my WiFi network went down. Had to pull the plug.
