I keep hearing rumors that Twitter SMS messages are being blocked by T-Mobile. I don't use T-Mobile, but I always worry when I hear things like this. Does anyone have any thought on this or know any inside scoop?
I just attempted to place a call and received "Call Failed" .... I tried multiple phone numbers with the same result. I rebooted my phone, and the same thing occurs. I do, however, have data services such as web and email but phone services and SMS is completely dead. I also have a backup T-Mobile phone that I popped my SIM card in and it shows the same results.
Worse yet.... I just had a friend call my phone number and she received "That number is no longer in service"......
Oh... and to top it off I call T-Mobile and they are closed until 6am EST?!
I just moved to a location that T Mobile says I "should" have service... I don't!!!
Customer Service says I can't cancel.. Why should I pay for a service I don't get??
Are other short codes being blocked by T-Mobile, other than the twitter code? I tried using my cell phone for paying for Acclaim coins (virtual currency used for online games) and to pay for runescape members service. and they both said that T-Mobile does not support short codes, even though it worked about March of this year the last time i used it. are they doing the same thing with other codes that they did with twitter?
I had a major billing problem. My bill is normally $92. This month I got a bill for over $800. Last month T-Mobile had charged someone else's use to my bill, but supposedly fixed it. So, now they've cancelled my phone service. I can't see any of the activity for my phone service on my.tmobile. When I call, I now longer have an account with T-Mobile. Help! Is there anyone at T-Mobile that will listen?
I have called T Mob re: a recent move and having no service at new address. They show me as having service (of course they do) but, i've been a customer for over 12 years and have no reason to get out except I get no service at home!! They now tell me to go buy a new phone!! My phone is 1 year old and a $300.00 phone.... OR.. they can give me some hot spot device for $20+ dollars extra a month!!
I want out of my contract at this point! I'm NOT willing to pay extra to "see if the hot spot box helps!!"
What can I do?? Who can I call?? Customer Service won't help me!!
Anyone else booted off TMo for being an Extreme Roamer?
Calling CS is like trying to ask for the War Room or the bowels of Quantico. More than 13 people REFUSED to tell me why my service was deactivated-- one person took pity and mentioned ERR-- Extreme Roaming Reduction. A little google search revealed a policy to rid the universe of this scourge of customer.
Fine, that's the policy, But noone will answer my question of why do this if I am moving to a major metro area with full TMo coverage in 24 hrs-- I shall roam no more! BUt noone will process a new account w/o resolving this one-- and hey, what about the deposit w/ 7 years accrued interest on it? How do I get that back if they won't restore/begin service?
T-mobile has taken more than $1,000 by bank draft from a family friends bank account. They claim he is downloading music, but someone else has hacked his account and is stealing services frm T-Mobile at our friends expense. He has called T-Mobile, told them his is a victim of the song thief and their refusal to stop stealing money from his account. I have suggested he file a police report and sue T-Mobile in small claims. He is in the process of moving to another state, he lost his wife to cancer in 2005 and he cares for his two young children on his own. He is also starting a new job as a music director at a private school. Having passed an FBI Check in order to teach, I think T-Mobile should give him the benefit of the doubt. How does not have time to fight this. What can we do to get T-Mobile to remedy their error?
How do I get info on T-Mobile@home's features i.e. call forwarding, retrieving voicemail, etc.?
I am using the service and can't get voicemail.
The customer support for this product is HORRIBLE!!!
