Frustrated with T-Mobile's service
I have horrible internet connectivity on my Blackberry 8120. I bought it a month ago, and the Internet has not worked reliably since I bought it. My biggest frustration was being in an area where I had full bars and could not establish a web connection. I could place calls without any problems, just no Internet. And I was standing next to another T-Mobile user with a Blackberry Curve who had no problems.
I've been with T-Mobile for nearly 4 years now, but at this point, I'm not happy with the service. I would like either to be released from my contract without penalties, or I want a new phone for free.

Inappropriate?I have a similiar problem with my at home service. After a year of working with them to improve my service-bought new phones, new sim cards, extended my contracts- the new wi-fi phones ...poor service and reception prevails.
I’m disturbed by T-mobile's "customer service"

Inappropriate?Hmmm...with Blackberries, the simplest thing to try and fix an issue like that is to pull the battery, leave it out for the count of 20, and plug it back in. It'll take about 2 minutes to reboot, but it solves about 50% of anything that goes haywire with a Berry.
Refreshing the Service books can also restore a busted web connection by loading fresh provisioning on the phone. to log into your tmobile account, scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the pink print "set up my Blackberry email." Click that, and it will open a Blackberry control panel. You'll look for a link in the left hand side that says "service books." On the Berry itself, go into options - advanced options - service books - and delete all the service books on your Berry. There will be one or two that aren't able to delete. That's fine. Let them be. Back on the computer, push the button that says "send service books." You'll get a message on the Berry saying "congratulations," and any backlogged email.
For more Varsity-league stuff (and a more permanant fix), try heading to http://www.tmobile.com/bbupgrade & select your model. You'll look for the Handheld software (first link on the page). Download it to your computer, install it to the computer, then hook up the Berry to the Desktop manager, and it'll update the software automatically.
If all else fails, head to www.crackberry.com. Those folks know every trick and hack the manuals won't cover.
I’m sad to hear it

Inappropriate?Sorry to brake it up to you all but TM has been infected wit ATTitis. They do so poorly with Blackberries and with broken promises that long time users like me are switching. Just month ago metroPCS started offering Blackbery Curves with BES for $ 50 unlimited voice/data. Yes, the network is not as great but they are improving as fast as the amount of lies that ATT and TM give to customerers per second. And this is 3G like Verizon and Sprint and they will improve to near 4G by next year. And the Spot thing they have is a joke that you wont even think about with a 4G BB all you can eat. Isn't competition great ???
