no cell service at home
I have called T Mob re: a recent move and having no service at new address. They show me as having service (of course they do) but, i've been a customer for over 12 years and have no reason to get out except I get no service at home!! They now tell me to go buy a new phone!! My phone is 1 year old and a $300.00 phone.... OR.. they can give me some hot spot device for $20+ dollars extra a month!!
I want out of my contract at this point! I'm NOT willing to pay extra to "see if the hot spot box helps!!"
What can I do?? Who can I call?? Customer Service won't help me!!

Inappropriate?we too can not get service in our house. we have to walk around the house to find bars on the phone. we are within spitting distance from at least 2 towers- i thought cell companies shared towers

Here's what I did.... I filed a complaint with the FCC... T Mobile called me within days, and, they were willing to do anything to help me!! I have now moved from the area I was in, but, they gave me $100.00 credit on my bill!! Demand a "hot spot" box.. which supposedly helps though I never tried it, and, make sure they don't charge you for it!! They didn't like a complaint filed with the FCC that's for sure!!
