Tmobile Conspiracy?

SO, I am totally not a conspiracy theorists, but after talking to my mom and her having the same conclusion I have come to the conclusion that T-mobile has a conspiracy that after 2 years the phone breaks. I got the sidekick 3 over two years ago and I love it. The week of my two year's being up my phone gets this crazy update (which I have never recieved an update before). Within 10 minutes of it updating, it is sitting on the table next to me and it is beeping non stop. I look at it and there are three letters going across my page. As soon as it stops those letters stop working. I am now 4 months passed my 2 year contract and my phone has had three buttons completely stop working, both scroll buttons quit working, occassionally my power putton stops working and just two days ago it completely died after being charged and now will not come on at all. I am frustrated, my mom and some of my college friends have said similar things have happened to them, so I was wondering if I am crazy or other people are having this problem as well.
