Tmobile - They !@#$ you in Drive Through
Tmobile has been a giant pain in my ass. I have a Tmobile Sidekick 3, which decided not to turn on one day. I took it into a store, they tried and nothing. Then the fun began. For the next 2 hours we called customer care from the store, and they couldnt verify my warranty. They gave me all kinds of crap. The guys at the store scanned my IMEI # and there it was...my phone had 20 days left on warranty. So they called the sidekick department and after some complaining, the phone was handed to me and she said a new phone was on the way. Gave me a confirmation # when I asked for it and all.
I call on Monday, a few days after all this. To get a UPS tracking #. Tmobile has NOTHING in their system about a new phone coming to me. They acted like I made it up, even saying that "this lady" may have given me a "bogus confirmation #". WTF? 3 hours on the phone with Tmobile last night, and finally a supervisor in the sidekick department promised to send out a new phone by Thursday. We shall see. So mad.

Inappropriate?That's weird, I have had better luck with their customer service than any other cell provider. All I can say is that if you decide to change, don't go with sprint.
I still think T-Mobile has better customer service than any other cell company and that is why I have been with them for over 3 years now. Just imagine if you would have had to deal with one of the other companies.

Inappropriate?I have never had a problem actually. But this seemed fishy to me, since a) my warranty was so close to being up and b) everyone was so absolutely rude and clueless. i had to end up schooling half of them based on what i learned from the guys in the tmobile store!

Inappropriate?It might have just been because it was their warranty department. I have only dealt with them once, and I was in the Navy then so they might have known better to mess with me since I could always defer to JAG.

Inappropriate?True dat. I was bounced around to every single department at TMobile. I could easily be a manager there now. Not that'd I want to at this point!

Inappropriate?Update: I finally got a new sidekick in the mail. It works.
Remember everyone...get confirmation numbers, peoples names, and remember that your IMEI # on your phone holds all of the information even if they say your info is "unverifiable"
