Won't waive early termination fee even when service doesn't work!
T-Mobile service but does not work in my new house, but T-Mobile refuses to waive my early termination fee. I am a loyal customer of many years and I often have very large cell phone bills (I travel internationally for my work and have a family plan). I'm moving to a new house, and T-mobile has no signal anywhere in my new house. Other cell phone carriers do work in my house. So, obviously, I want to end my T-Mobile contract and start a contract with a new provider that works in my new house.
So I talked to T-Mobile today and explained my problem to them. It took 4 people to get to someone who was authorized to waive the early termination fee. However, he said that "T-Mobile doesn't guarantee service" and refused to waive the fee.
It is completely outrageous that the company cannot provide me with service in my house (they kept trying to sell me the wi-fi calling service, but it is not reliable enough for me) and yet they refuse to waive the early termination fee.
