I use recurring tasks quite a bit. But some of my tasks need to be set to reoccur upon completion... not the due date.
For example. I wind my grandfather clock every 7 days. However, if I end up doing it one day late then the next recurring task will be due in 6 days. That is too soon to wind my grandfather clock which needs to be wound every 7 days.
All of this would work great If there was the option to set a recurring task for every 7 days and due upon completion of the previous task. So if I miss winding my clock and end up winding it a day late, then the next due date will automatically be pushed back by one day.. but it will still be 7 days later.

I'm wondering if there is a way to accomplish this with creative date and time insertion. Something like..... rather than "every 7 days" could I put something like "after 7 days"?

I would like this feature as well.
Sometimes I miss a reoccurring task by a few days and when its eventually completed I do not need to repeat it so soon after the actual completion time.
The reoccurring task should reset the 'x days' from the time of actual completion not the time it was originally entered.
I honestly think it should default to work this way. -

This would be really nice. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it would be a nice feature to choose.
