Yesterday I logged 6 1/2 hours with the Toggl timer. Only 2 1/2 hours is showing up on all the reports for that day. Toggl lost 4 hours of my time. Now I don't know which projects have what time and I am unable to accurately bill my customers
Can you reuse 'save as' an existing project to save having to set up all the tasks again?
I want to use Toggl to help track jobs in our small studio. Quite a few of our projects have similar tasks. Is it possible to save an existing project to save having to set up all the tasks from scratch?
When I try to launch Toggl Desktop, I get a Send Error Report dialogue with the message "Configuration system failed to initialize" Clicking 'Send Error Report' fails with the same message, and 'Don't Send' quits the program. Uninstalling and resinstalling Toggl hasn't helped.
I don't know if it's related, but the problem started after a power outage in which my UPS force-quit everything and shut down the system.
After installing version 0.1.4 of the Widget I can't quit the program. I've tried clicking the red dot in the top of the window, selecting Quit in the Application menu an right clicking of the Toggl icon but nothing seems to do anything.
Help,
My Toggl Desktop doesn't log in any more - it fails with the error "Remote server returned an error (417) Expectation failed"
I have been away for a week and not used Toggl; prior to that it was okay. I am in Australia too, like other people who have mentioned a login error, but my problem seems different.
I have used Toggl desktop without problems for about 4 months and love it.
I created workspace and project.
Then I invited my friend. He got an e-mail, and register account.
Now he could see project I created.
But he can't see tasks created by me in this project (his task list on this project is empty).
What I have to do to to fix it?
I want to create tasks and my friend have to count time on this tasks (not create own).
And another question:
On this project I marked as "Manager".
But when my friend enter to project detials - he could change manager's list (and make himself as manager, for example). Why is it so?
Is simple user can edit manager's list in project.
I have not been able to log on for 2 days. I enter my user id and password and it just keeps refreshing the home page. Yesterday I sent an email that I forgot my password (to see if this would help) and got a reply that I have to change my password for security reasons. Changed password and I did get in late yesterday. But today I cannot log in again. Help please!!
Is it possible to change the Toggl Timer so that the default view is today's tasks? If not, it would be good if that were an option. I'd prefer to set my default view to the opposite of what it is currently so that I only see all tasks by clicking the "show all" link.
I didn't think much of Chrome at first, but it's application mode is a GREAT way to run the Toggl Timer. It makes it almost as nice to use as Toggl Desktop, with the added bonus that the web version is updated more often and so has more features.
A few things that would make it better with Chrome -- allow it to automatically log in when it starts. Sure it has my user name & password prepopulated in the login fields (that might just be Chrome) and I can just click login. And *sometimes* it does log in right away. But it'd be nice if it were consistent.
Also: not sure it's possible, but it'd be neat of the taskbar icon would change based on whether your timer is on (like the desktop).
The recent update where you can expand/collapse tasks is nice. But projects with no tasks look odd, since they aren't indented to the same level as projects with tasks. Maybe a spacer or something should be there?
And why not go one further -- give us the option to expand/collapse clients. Make it a true hierarchical view.
But I think it'd be nice if all this were options. Have an option to load the timer with all tasks/projects collapsed or expanded, or not, etc, or not do collapsing at all.
