iPhone Interface
Has anyone used any version of Toggl on an iPhone? Does it work, or are there any plans to make an iPhone app for it? I think it'd be a great idea.

Toggl Timer for iPhone was released yesterday. It's free to download for everyone. Either search for Toggl from inside iTunes or use this link - http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZ...

Inappropriate?iPhone is a tidal wave that even Toggl can't escape :)
I can't give you the exact dates yet... -
Inappropriate? We made some quick tweaks so that the Timer is displayed correctly with the iPhone. You can have a look by using the link www.toggl.com/timer with the iPhone.
The interface needs more work to be convenient with the mobile Safari browser, so more updates are coming.

Thanks -
Inappropriate? The new toggl nano timer looks pretty nice on an iphone, except that the meta tags for the size would have to be set, other than that all works ^^
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I would love to see a full featured native app for the iPhone, not just a webpage optimized for iPhone.
I’m hopeful
-
Inappropriate?A native iPhone app is ready. We are waiting for Apple's approval.

Yay you guys! -
Excellent! Still waiting on approval though? :-/ -
Yep, still waiting on approval. It seems Apple is not at all hurrying with this :) -
Inappropriate?Woo hoo!!
-
Inappropriate?Yes, it has offline capabilities. No network required to track tasks.

Inappropriate?Yup, the Apple guys are incredibly slow at the moment, due to all the buzz about that stupid push notification feature...
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?any news on this? Search for "Toggl" in iTunes didn't bring up anything...
I’m hopeful
-
Inappropriate?I've also just searched for 'Toggl' in app store on iPhone and nothing returned. I really hope this app comes out soon as I'm really impressed with the Toggl service!
I’m also hopeful about this

Inappropriate?Great to see the new iPhone version! At the same time I'm very sad to see that you decided to go with the nano interface. I love Toggl and the classic interface and think you are all doing a great job - but I've found the nano interface to be absoluely useless. There is not even a quick way (or at least an obvious way) to continue a task from a previous day - clicking on previous days' tasks just seems to add more time to the previous day, when I want to add more time to it today. Do you really have that many users who favor nano over classic?
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?I am very happy with the iPhone app, it's nice and easy to use. I am generally also comfortable with the nano timer. I have to agree with Ron though that it's confusing that tasks continue to count for a previous day when you continue the day after. This means I keep creating new tasks in order to artificially separate between days.
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate?Ron, Benjamin, thanks for the comments. We're looking for a good way to make Nano support recurring tasks. There are some upcoming improvements, so stay tuned :)
-
Inappropriate?Hopefully one of the improvements will be to make the classic interface available on the iPhone app. I'm one of those people that will prefer the classic interface no matter what you do to improve the nano interface.
I’m hopeful

Hi Ron, Classic Timer is here to stay on browsers and Toggl Desktop. We will continue supporting and improving it. But, we have no plans to add new timer views to the iPhone application. Not at least in the foreseeable future.
