Is there a widget build for Ubuntu x86_64?
I'd like to try the widget on a Ubuntu x86_64 platform
Do you have a build for that?

Inappropriate?Bump. Nudge. Whatever...
Anyone care to comment? -
Inappropriate?Hi Robin. Currently we do not have a 64-bit Widget but it will come. Maybe not tomorrow but more likely in the end of the summer.

Inappropriate?Sorry for the late reply, I missed your topic somehow.

Inappropriate?OK, it seems it is possible to install 32-bit debs on x86_64 machines.
The procedure is something like this:
- get the widget deb
- get a tool called getlibs
- Install getlibs
- Install the toggl widget, over-riding architecture
- Install the required 32-bit libraries for the toggl widget
wget http://download.toggl.com/widget/togg...
wget http://frozenfox.freehostia.com/cappy...
sudo dpkg -i getlibs-all.deb
sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture toggl-widget-current.deb
sudo getlibs /usr/bin/TogglWidget
Of course, I'm about to switch to Fedora 11 so I'll be pestering you for an RPM very shortly!

I’m pleased I got it working

Inappropriate? Thanks for the instructions. This might help others also.

Inappropriate?A further update...
It is possible that step 4. (installation of the toggl widget) will fail due to unsatisfied dependencies.
If this happens, simply install the required dependencies and re-try.
When I installed on a second machine I had to do this:
sudo apt-get install libqt4-core
before the toggl widget would install.

I’m frustrated with the crappy getsatisfaction authentication - my openid auth failed and I had to type this whole comment again!

Inappropriate? Thanks a lot Robin, I recently got this working in Ubuntu 9.04 x64. Command 5 should be:
sudo getlibs /usr/bin/TogglDesktop
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate? We have built a 64-bit deb package for the Toggl Desktop. It is not yet public but will be soon. Currently it does not support update notifications.
To try it out, grab it here: http://download.toggl.com/widget/togg... -
Inappropriate?Jaanus - I'm actually now using Fedora 12 now so I need a 64-bit RPM :)
