Logging of time even after shut down
I think toggl is logging time even after I shut down my computer - resulting in some projects having rediculously long hours. Why? How can I stop this? Ria

Inappropriate?Toggl does not automatically start or stop tasks if you close your browser or the desktop agent. You have to manually stop the task or otherwise it will remain a running task.
Did I understand your problem correctly? -
Inappropriate?I think it is good behaviour. You can close browser and continue in work on your task. Meybe your request should be added as option in user settings.
I’m happy

I think it should at least be an option. For me, closing the tab a webapp is operating in = logging out of said webapp -
Last week the feature was added. Please check My Settings page. You can choose if Toggl will automatically stop timer when exiting the webpage, or not. -
Now that's what I call service :). It's my first day using Toggl, but I'm finding it very useful already. -
Inappropriate?I think it'd be a nice option - particularly for the desktop agent - to automatically stop timing a task when it is shut down.
-
Inappropriate?I have "Stop running task on exit" set to "yes", but Toggl Desktop keeps logging time after shutdown. Bug ? This is TD 1.0.1
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Possibly a bug, yes. We'll take a look at it immediately.
