Toggl Desktop does not login anymore

If my Toggl Desktop fails to login (due to some obscure date format error with the server - I am in Australia), how do I retain my desktop data that may not have synchronised before this fault occured? I cannot even view my desktop data without a login so I cannot recall it should I need to re-enter it. This is a major failing/issue.
