Widget and dashboard timers are not synchronized.
I use the windows version of the Toggl Timer Widget. If I start a task timing in the widget I need to refresh the dashboard to get the running timer in sync and vice versa. However if I forget to use the refresh it is possible to stop or start the timers out of sync. The problem is that I could have been tracking for hours with one of the trackers and then accidentally start the other tracker which could delete my first track. I would suggest an implicit synchronization refresh when the stop/start toggle is pressed.

Inappropriate?Hi Soren. Yes, the web page does not refresh itself when something is changed through the Widget.
I suggest you use only one timer, on the web or the widget, otherwise if you use two simultaneously, you could owerwrite your previously tracked time.
