The Tokbox Firefox plugin is an extension of Facebook chat. The plugin will allow you to make voice and video calls directly from Facebook chat, which means you don't have to be logged in at the Tokbox site to make calls to people logged into Facebook chat.

Please do the following to set your cam/mic settings:

1. Login to Tokbox.
2. Click on the 'Cam/mic settings' link.
3. You will be stepped through detecting your webcam and microphone (you will have to set 'allow'.

How do I change my Tokbox email address?

Please do the following to change your Tokbox account email:

1. Login to the site.
2. Click on the "Account" link found on the left sidebar.
3. Go to "Change Email".
4. Enter the new email address in the "New Email" box..
5. Click on "Update Email".

Note: You will receive an email that you have to confirm.

Please do the following to change your Tokbox account password:

1. Login to the site.
2. Click on the "account' link found in the left sidebar.
3. Go to "Change Password".
4. Enter in the current password.
5. Enter the new password in the next two boxes.
6. Click on "Update Password" to save the new password.

Please use the "Meet New People" link on the left sidebar to see who is online.

Note: You will have to make yourself available for calls to see the other parties that are online.

Absolutely. You would simply need to know the email address of the person(s) you want to send a video email to. The recipient of the email does have an option of replying to the video email, even if the recipient doesn't have a Tokbox account.

Please go to http://www.tokbox.com/view/forgotpass if you've forgotten your Tokbox account password. You will need to know the email address you created the account with.

Please do the following to edit your contact list:

1. Login to your Tokbox account.
2. Go to your contact list.
3. Click on “Edit Friends”.
4. Locate the friend you want to remove.
5. Press on the remove option.

Special note about contacts added from Instant Messaging accounts:
Contacts added from services such as AIM or MSN Messenger are an “all or none” feature because of how the information is added to Tokbox (the username and password gathers all of your contacts). This means you can’t selectively edit out contacts added from an Instant Messaging service.

If you or the other party in a call is getting a black screen, you would need to click on the cam/mic settings link found on the left sidebar (or the settings' link while you're in the call window). You can detect and set your camera that way.
