Disable this when you first get an account.
I would like it where your friends couldn't see your buddy list after you sign up. I don't think its really a good idea to have it enabled unless you enable it yourself.

Inappropriate?I agree with Ralph. A user should be able to show all or some or none of their friends to others. Also as a user I should be able to say if I would like my name shared by my friends when I join their friends list.

To set privacy on your buddy list, follow these steps:
1) Login to your account. Click MY TOKBOX on the left menu
2) Click ACCOUNT
3) A new window will pop up, select the PROFILE tab located in the middle.
4) In the bottom right of the PROFILE window, you will see a "Friends" section. Here we give you three options:
* Allow anyone to view my buddy list
* Only allow my friends to view my friend list
* Do not share my friends list
