I've upgraded to a recent version of Flash and still can't detect my webcam. What should I do?
If you still can't detect your webcam after upgrading to a recent version of Flash (link:http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/), there's a possibility you have to update your webcam drivers. To search for how to update your drivers using a search engine, try using the following keywords:
1. Manufacturer name of the webcam (Logitech, for example).
2. The model number of your webcam (QuickCam Pro 9000).
3. Update drivers.
Note: Going directly to the manufacturer's site is also an option. Driver software can generally be found in the company's "Help" or "Support" links.
Please log back into Tokbox.com after you've updated the drivers, then go to "Cam/Mic" settings to attempt to detect the camera again (make sure you click on the "Allow" option). If problems persist, please contact us with the name of the manufacturer & the model number of your webcam.
Note: Linux users are more likely to have issues with detection because of Flash compatibility issues.

Inappropriate?Tokbox currently doesn't fully support the Linux platform, which means that Tokbox can't guarantee that the site will work with
Linux machines at this time (we hope to have full support in the near future).
Potential resources that might help you resolve Tokbox cam detection issues:
Linux discussion forums: http://www.linuxforums.org/
The Flashcam project: http://www.swift-tools.net/Flashcam/
64-bit Linux machines:
If you're on a 64-bit system using Linux, installing the Adobe Plugin for 64-bit machines might help resolve some webcam and microphone detection
issues. You can download the 64-bit plugin here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flash... -

Inappropriate?Hi James,
The drivers on the cam probably require an update. Please see: http://getsatisfaction.com/tokbox/top...
