TOM TOM "CUSTOMER SUPPORT?"
TOM TOM SUPPORT IS REALLY NOT UP TO SNUFF. THEIR STAFF SEEMS TO LOSE PATIENCE WITH THE CUSTOMER VERY QUICKLY AS IF YOU HAVE INTERRUPTED SOMETHING THEY WERE DOING BEFORE YOUR CALL, AND THEY FIND WHATEVER THAT WAS MUCH MORE REWARDING THAN SOLVING YOUR PROBLEM.
THE GPS PRODUCT IS NOT WITHOUT PROBLEMS, AND THE COMPANY NEEDS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BEFORE THEY CAN UPGRADE THEIR SUPPORT STAFF AND MANAGEMENT.
THEY ARE ARE A DUTCH COMPANY WITH A FRENCH CEO.

Inappropriate?That's funny, I seem to have the same sort of a problem. When I upgraded tomtom's home software, It won't connect to the internet anymore. What's up with that?

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. Just downloaded the Tom tom home and won't budge as saying there is no connection but there is! my internet broadband is fine but still nolthing??? Anyone have any advice?

Inappropriate?I too am very dissolusioned with Tom Tom support. The staff do not seem to acknowledge that sometimes the software is not good and is certainly not user friendly. My Tom Tom 720 hard drive appears to have crashed and is unreadable. They still continue to send me the same standard email as a reply even though I keep telling them What they repeatedly ask me to do DOES NOT WORK. PLEASE REPLACE OR REFUND Tom tom!!!

Inappropriate?I to have had the same problem, TT Home states that I am not connected to the internet when downloading updates, then when I click the button at the bottom of the screen, it shows that it is downloading the updates.

Inappropriate?With out any effective Customer support, the device purchased for immediate information inflicts frustration when help is needed.t. Shocking. Buy a Garmin. TOMTOM is a broken product.
Ironically it’s a Dutch product. The Dutch, are reliable, precise, clear people. The country is a compact, wonderful village: the best designed country I have visited. I am delighted that my nieces grew up in Holland. Sadly in the States, the country is known for its “Post Cafes,” - a tiny and irrelevant aspect of the cities, and the people.
Sadly, TOMTOM, might as well be a drunk, stoned tourist. They are not there to answer
.The only upside I can think of is to short their stock. Without customer support the market will rightfully ravage TOMTOM stock.
I’m frustrated, and sad, but happy to warn people.
