TomTom One XL - Invalid SIM card
I bought a TomTom One XL Europe in Netherlands, and used it when I drove home to Norway. The TomTom Traffic-function worked perfectly the first days in Netherlands, but during the trip it didn't work at all in any of the countries. On the left-side bar there is a red cross. When typing it, it says "SIM card invalid". When pressing "TomTom Traffic" in the main menu, it says "WARNING: Missing or invalid SIM card. Please contact TomTom customer support +31 20 8501007. Error code: 107"
I have not touched the SIM card, only checked that it is there. When trying to get "Account info" it says "Tomtom PLUS Could not establish a wireless data connection...". I have tried to reset the device, without success. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Inappropriate?TomTom HD Traffic is only set up to work with Vodafone in the Netherlands at this time as far as I know.

Inappropriate?Jensma, I'm frustrated too! Similar problem. HD traffic seems only to work in the Netherlands at present. Some talk of HD traffic being available in other countries in Europe at some point??!! However - and this is my frustrating problem -- I have subscribed to Tom Tom Plus traffic services in order to have the traffic function in countries outside of the Netherlands. Before I purchased this service from Tom Tom, I contacted Tom Tom to see if this was a viable service for my Tom Tom One XL HD Traffic. I was told it was. However, the Tom Tom Plus service (traffic) is not functioning despite setting up new accounts, pressing Reset, etc. Could be my mobile (which the traffic service requires but my mobile is bluetooth functioning?).
It just seems to default to HD traffic and override the Plus services.
Hopefully someone out there will eventually post a solution ...?
