Why doesn't Tom Tom honor their warranty when LCD breaks?
The LCD on my Tom Tom One XL cracked as I was tapping in a new address. Which is how one navigates through the menus!
Customer Service told me the LCD is not covered under their warranty. I was offered a "Customer Satisfaction" discount that can only be used at the Tom Tom Store. I am a computer technician and have replaced the LCD panels on many laptops, so believe I could replace this LCD if I could locate one. Up until now I was very happy with my Tom Tom One XL - but with such poor customer support, not sure if I will get another one.
