normalizing well out
normalizing on the pmd seems to be way off, all my mixes are mp3 gained at 93db. With normalixing turned on some of the tracks are loads louder than the others. I've sorted the issue by just turning it off, but surely this feature should make the level constant

Inappropriate?The normalization does not even out all tracks to be exactly as loud right now.
The thing that the normalization does right now is that it enhances the gain of tracks that are very "low", the rest has to be manually done with gain.
It would be good to have a "real" normalization, and it has been suggested a few times,
meanwhile there are other software that can normalize all your tunes(before importing to the Editor).
Anyways lets hope we can see that function in a future release :).

I had my entire library at 89, which is very safe, fine for my iPod, but too low for me on PM...
I have now re-set to 92. This is much better, but some of the effects are now pushing tracks into dangerous "red" territory, but I can live with it... -

When I tried to download Mp3 gain, it says something like, it is a RAR programe and window needs to know what program you want to use to open.
What do i do?

The EXE installer download is clearly marked on the top of thier page as "This is what most people will want to download" - It is not a zip or rar file... If you are not familiar on how to use programs that are zipped / rared, then you should probably not be using a version without an installer etc...1 Comment Add a comment
