I get an error message every time I try to save my photo in CS3
I get an error message that says "Could not complete the Topaz 3 command because getRectImage-cannot get image!" when trying to save the photo in CS3. I have checked and have the lasest version, so it's not an update issue.

Inappropriate? Are you on Mac or Windows? Which version?
-
Inappropriate?Sorry, I am on Windows.
-
Inappropriate?Windows XP, Home edition, service pack 3
-
Inappropriate?Anyone?
-
Inappropriate?Hi Brigitte,
This problem sometimes crops up when you're using an image that's too big for your memory to handle. Are you using a very large image?
Best regards,
Eric
-
Inappropriate?It's 3072x2048, 6.1MP
What is the largest size I should try to use? -
Inappropriate?Brigitte, an image of that size should be alright. How much memory do you have?
Try re-downloading the latest version of Topaz Adjust here: http://www.topazlabs.com/downloads
That may fix the problem.
Best,
Eric

I get this error with DeNoise 3, Simplify 2 and Clean 2 when working with 16 bit Tiffs when one side is more than 6000 pixels. Have 2Gb RAM, XP SP3, 70% memory for P'shop and virtual memory is at 4096Mb on both partitions of drive. Scratch disk is partition D which is quite empty and contains no programme files. CPU is AMD 2194 Mhz. I need to work with images at 9000 pixels longest side but not possible.

Addendum; changing to 8 bit does not solve this problem either.

Inappropriate?Hi Gareth,
9000 pixel wide is too big for a machine with 2GBRAM usingTopaz Adjust. If the picture's height is small, say 2000. Try to rotate the picture 90 degree so that it is in portrait orientation. Topaz uses less memory when picture is narrower.
If the picture is just too big, you might have to find a machine with 64-bit CS4 on which you will have no problem to process it. Sorry about it. -
Albert, I suspected as much - thanks. Topaz filters are great. Some of my work at http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/ga... -
Inappropriate?Great pictures. I am very glad that our filter can help.
