Installation Woes
I'm attempting to install trials of a few Topaz Labs filters (Adjust and Simplify specifically). After the installation, I open up Photoshop CS4 and the filters do not appear in the filter menu.
I know this issue has come up before but I've tried some of the solutions already posted and they do not work for me. I suspect that my CS4 installation is in a non-standard location (though I'm not sure) but I don't see the "Customize" button during installation to choose the proper location.
I'm using the latest 15" MBP with Snow Leopard (10.6.1).
I'd love to try these filters. Is there anything I can do to install it?

Inappropriate?Hi,
Thanks for your message. I am happy to assist you.
Please try this:
Go to the Photoshop Plug-Ins folder and delete everything Topaz. To make sure that you've done this, if you open up Photoshop and check the Filters menu it should not mention Topaz Adjust at all.
Now go to your Topaz Adjust folder. On the Mac it is at HD/Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs/Topaz Adjust.
Make a shortcut from the Plugins folder in the Topaz Adjust folder to the Plug-Ins folder in Photoshop. You could also just copy and paste it there. Restart Photoshop and it will show up in the Filters menu up top.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best,
Ashley

Inappropriate?Ashley,
Thanks for the reply. I tried to do as you said but I don't have a 'Topaz Labs' folder in my HD/Library/Application Support directory.
I've tried to run the installer several times. Each time I get a confirmation message that everything has been installed successfully. However, the filter does not show up in Photoshop.
When I search my drive via the Finder, I don't get any matches to 'Topaz' except the installation DMG files.
Anything else I can try?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Hi Vishal,
Please open up Photoshop and go to your preferences menu and go to Plug-ins. Once that window pops up please click on choose and navigate to: HD -> Library -> Application Support -> Topaz Labs -> Adjust -> Plug-ins and select the topaz_adjust3.plug-in and click OK.
Then restart Photoshop, open an image and go to Filter -> Topaz Labs and see if Adjust is there.
Please let me know how this works for you and if you have any other questions.
Best,
Ashley
