How do I install Topaz Adjust with both Photoshop CS3 and CS4?
Is there a way to install Topaz Adjust in Photoshop CS4 while I still have it installed in Photoshop CS3? When I try, an installer window asks if I want to repair or remove Topaz Adjust with no option to install or re-install. Any way around this (assuming it's within the licensing agreement)?

Inappropriate?Yes.
For Windows:
Go to Photoshop CS4 plug-ins folder. This is usually located in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plug-Ins. You'll see a TopazAdjust shortcut icon. Right click that file, click Copy, and go to your Photoshop CS3 plug-ins folder. This is usually in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins. Right click any empty space in the folder and click Paste.
For Mac:
Go to Photoshop CS4 plug-ins folder. This is usually located in Mac HD->Applications->Adobe Photoshop CS4->Plug-Ins. Copy the TopazAdjust folder and Paste it into your Photoshop CS3 plug-ins folder.
Oh, and make sure you restart Photoshop after doing this. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanx Eric. I actually just figured this out on my own a few minutes ago... doh! Needed to install a slew of other plug-ins into PS CS4 as well so resorted to turning on my brain! Have a nice day! Oh, by the way, absolutely love Topaz Adjust. Kudos to you and your team. -
Inappropriate?Hi
This works also if you maintain a separate plugin directory. I use C:\...adobe\plugins and install all of my additional plug ins here so that I don't have to reinstall for every upgrade. I moved the shortcut to this directory and it works for both CS3 and CS4 -
Inappropriate?Hi Rob,
Great idea. That works better than my suggestion!

Inappropriate?Thanks Eric
but I couldn't have done it without your initial reply as to where the shortcut was.
It is working well for me in both versions now.

Inappropriate?Great solution. Only, I think in Eric's original description he meant to say copy the shortcut from the CS3 plug-in directory to the CS4 plug-in directory. The problem is that the shortcut is missing in the CS4 directory.

Inappropriate? Now if you download the newest V2.5, the installer should automatically install for both CS3 and CS4 if they are installed in their default location /Application/Adobe/
-
Inappropriate?does the 64bit version of CS4 make a difference
cause i tried to install it like 5 times
-
Inappropriate?64-bit will only install for CS4 64-bit since CS3 does not support 64-bit. All you need to do is to run the 64-bit installer AFTER installing the 32-bit.
