Inappropriate?Hi dida,
Go to Edit->Preferences->Memory/Performance and try lowering the maximum RAM that Photoshop is allowed to use to about 1 GB. Restart Photoshop and try again.
By the way, how much memory do you have on your computer?
Thanks,
Eric -
Inappropriate?Hi Dida,
I have this problem too. 4GB RAM, 200GB hard drive space, Athlon dual core CPU, Vista Ultimate 32 bit. Photoshop running 100% efficient (ie no need for scratch disk) available RAM for Photoshop 1.8GB. Topaz Adjust will not handle full sized jpegs from my Nikon D3, or full sized TIFF images. If I downsize the image to less than half of what it was originally, then it will process it. Hope that Eric can tell me how to fix this. I bought Topaz Adjust only a few days ago.
Regards,
Richard
I’m extremely frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Richard... Could you try the suggestion I made to dida above your post? Try reducing the maximum amount of memory that Photoshop is allowed to use, and see if that helps.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hello Eric,
Thank you !! I reduced the memory available to Photoshop CS3 to 1GB as per your suggestion and Topaz Adjust is now working 100% as it should. Thanks.
Regards,
Richard
I’m happy !!

Inappropriate?I'll try reducing my CS3 Ram allocation to 1GB. But that is a workaround, not a fix. Can we expect a software patch to actually fix this? Thanks.
System has 4GB, tons of open disk space, XP SP3.
Also, the error message should say "not enough memory" instead of "no enough memory." -
Hi DotCom,
We'll see what we can do to fix it... thanks for the feedback.
Regards,
Eric -
Inappropriate?Lowered Photoshop RAM allocation to <1gb>m good for another two images. PS with Bridge are the ONLY apps running. Eric, can you provide a progress update on the fix for this? Thank you. Great product.
-
Did lowering the RAM work?
The fix for this will not likely come soon, as it requires a lot of additional testing and work. However, I'll let you know when it does. -
Inappropriate? We have pushed out 64-bit supports that solved memory problem for people with 64-bit CS4.
We are will working on reducing memory requirement for 32-bit. Meanwhile, reducing PS memory using using menu Edit->Preference->Performance is the only way to leave more room for Adjust to run. I will keep you posted on our progress. -

Inappropriate?Just an update, we did find a solution that don't need to change Photoshop memory. We will solve this problem once for all in V2.6
-
Inappropriate?I thought changing Photoshops memory would fix it, so I bought the program, but am again getting the 'the not enough memory. I have set Photoshop to use 1/2 of my 2 GB. Im running XP not vista. When can we expect Ver.2.6?
-
Inappropriate?Pretty soon Vibeke, most likely within a week. As a temporary solution, try setting Photoshop to using about 25%-30% of memory, that may help.
-
Inappropriate? We finally fixed the memory problem! Please download Topaz Adjust V2.6:

No need to mess with Photoshop RAM setting anymore. -
NOT fixed. Windows XP Pro, 4GB RAM, Photoshop CS4 set to use 923Mb, still getting "no enough memory" error -
Inappropriate?sorry still does it with v2.6 (pshop cs4, 4gb ram, winxp)
-
Inappropriate? How much memory do you have on your computer?

Inappropriate?4gb :)

Inappropriate?I get this error with another developer's plug-ins that used to work fine on my system with Photoshop CS3 – perhaps this has something to do with CS4 and not the plug-in itself (?).
-
Inappropriate?Sorry guys. Jgr, and Phil, could you try to adjust Photoshop memory "menu edit-> preference-> performance" and this time, increase RAM to 90%? Also make sure to turn on disk cache.
Pre-V2.6, Adjust ask for memory directly from Windows, so you need to reduce Photoshop memory to leave more room. In V2.6 however, Adjust will first ask for memory from Photoshop memory manager, if it doesn't have enough, the plug-in will ask from Windows memory manager. It will only give that msg when both of them refuse to give memory to Adjust. But you guys' systems have plenty of RAM. I am puzzled. Please be patient with us. We will figure out soon. -
Changed the memory to 90%, cache levels are 4. The "no enough memory" errors persists but only with large images (16x20 and 300 dpi, for example). Smaller images are okay. -
Inappropriate?Ran fine before I upgraded to the new version. FAST machine, WinXP(32bit), 4GB, Have tried all suggestions, memory usage by PS CS2, etc. Was thrilled with Topaz Adjust, but now am VERY disappointed. Sure don't want to spend time fixing a program I paid good money for!
-
Jody, the newer version should have been more stable, but I can send you a link to the previous version if you want. Which version were you using? -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem. Am trying to process a 16-bit image that is 9400 x 6200 pixels. The error is actually "getRectImage - cannot get image" .
