Password reset function does not work/does not send an email.
Title says it all. I cannot for the life of me remember my password, but I also cannot reset it. When I use the reset password thing, it sends me no email.

Inappropriate?I wouldn't necessarily say it does't work, it's just that I need to change email hosting providers because the current one sucks. You might have to be patient ;)

Inappropriate?If it's not the mail server I don't know what it would be, because I tested it on an account and it worked to send the password from my server to a gmail account.

When this email didn't show up it finally dawned on me to check my spam folder. It looks like the original password request as well as this email both got filtered out as spam. I can test the forgot password feature again to see if it is indeed always getting flagged as spam by default with gmail. -
Inappropriate?It looks like gmail filters out mail from topixz as spam. If this isn't working for you and you're using a gmail account be sure to check there for your password reset notification. On my second test the email was delivered in < 1 minute.

Alan, did you have more than one password reset email sent to you? If so, are you using the most current code? Maybe try using the "I forgot my password" feature again and going with the code in the new email. -
Inappropriate?I wonder if there's still something funky about the MX records which is causing gmail, and possibly other providers, to think this is spam?
I'm going to have to do some more investigating here. -

Inappropriate?Sorry for digging up an old problem, but I just got the e-mail saying that my account is now active, but I can't remember what password I used anymore. When I use the password reset, I get an error message:

Error Message: Internal Server Error

Inappropriate?There was an issue with this related to a config setting and the most recent set of updates that were applied. It should be fixed again.
