Confusion re adding "tags" for assignment application

I'm going through the process of "applying" to become a regular freelance writer at Trazzler, the "How to apply" section, point #4 says "add one of the tags below to your trip, (there is a field under the trip description box on the 'add a trip' page) so we can consider you for the correct assignment."

Confusing. If you work through the outlined process step-by-step, you will not find any "add a trip" function. I posted anway, then went to edit to see if I could add it, but it's still a bit confusing - are we supposed to add "yvrfreelance" to the tags used for the search engine to find stories about certain topics? It shows up on My Trips as "Found in: North America, Canada, Luxury, Resort, Outdoors, Camping, View, Pacific Ocean, Sunshine Coast, Yvrfreelance" and that didn't seem right, when compared with other trips previously posted. Have I followed the procedures correctly? Or is there some other place I should enter the YVRfreelanc tag? Please advise.
