Dates for the NYC trip?
Are the dates, for the NYC contest winner, set? Or would he or she be able to choose the date, barring blackout dates. I could have sworn I read something in the official rules but I can't find it anymore.
I'm a little worried that school will tie me up and I don't want to reneg on a contract and be sued. haha

There is some flexibility on the travel dates. Here's what it says in the rules:
PRIZE DETAILS and CONDITIONS:
The Grand Prize consists of: A $10,000 writing contract, roundtrip airfare for one (1) from the major airport served by Jet Blue Airlines that is closest to the Winner’s home; (2) roundtrip transportation between airport and hotel; (3) hotel accommodations for fourteen (14) nights in New York City at AKA Luxury Extended Stay Hotel comparable (specific property subject to change at the sole discretion of Sponsor). The Grand Prize winner must travel from the nearest major airport served by Jet Blue which offers service to major airports within the New York/New Jersey area. Blackout dates and other restrictions will apply. The airline and hotel elements of the Grand Prize will be awarded in the form of a certificate or voucher. Travel and lodging on specific dates is subject to availability and must be completed by August 31, 2010 and must be booked in accordance with the terms of the vouchers and certificates. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is ($19210).
