My use-case tonight was 'looking for something todo nearby this weekend'. The results I got from hitting next were great, but I kept wondering where the location was on each result. Toggling the map on every hit seemed redundant and annoying after a while (and I was not able to toggle back to the image).
To have a visual representation as well as a geo location is the two most important pieces of information along side the title and description - now it's too well hidden ;-)

Good point. We're going to be offering an option on all of the trip list pages (search results, city lists, tag lists, etc.) to plot the results on a map. Perhaps we need to make a list page for recommendations that would allow the same map view. I'll put this on our "to discuss" list--I like the idea.
