Getting paid for trips
A Megan McMorris wrote suggesting that writer's trip may get posted to Trazzler without pay to the writer. If it is true, what makes the difference between a writer getting paid and not for a trip? If this is untrue, it seems wise to clarify this point. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hi Electroncricket--
That's correct. We aren't purchasing individual trips at this time. When we pay writers--as we did for the vast majority of content that you see on the site--we commission blocks of trips (usually 20+ trips in a given geographic area or particular area of expertise). We strive to make this clear on all of the pages that pertain to writing for trazzler.com:
http://www.trazzler.com/about/write-f...
http://www.trazzler.com/about/faq
http://www.trazzler.com/about/jobs
We also mention it in the email confirmation that users receive from us when they sign up to write for Trazzler. And there's a statement right on the trip submission page itself, next to the checkbox.
You can read more about our plans to balance user-generated content and professional writing on our blog: http://blog.trazzler.com
And you can take a peek at what our latest batch of freelancers is up to here:

I hope this answers your question.
Thanks for taking the time to write.
