How come my links go screwy when I post?
I'm noticing that when I create trips with links embedded, the closing tag disappears, turning the rest of the paragraph into a link. No matter how many times I edit it, the tag keeps vanishing. Is there a trick that I am missing?

Inappropriate?Hi Joslyn--
Sorry about that--we increased the security on what can and can't slip through in the trip text and it seems to be quite unforgiving with links.
Is it possible that you are using single quotes instead of double quotes? Or that there is a space or hard return between the quotes and the link url? It should look like this:
<a href="http://trazzler.com">Trazzler</a>
If not, we may have a bug...

Inappropriate?Hi! Thanks for your quick response. So, I just went and double checked my code. The interface automatically inserts line breaks into the links when you cut and paste it into the editing box. I manually took them back out and republished. However, this screwed up the link code even more. If you want to see what I mean, go to this entry:

I originally had 3 links embedded. As you can see, it took them all out and left random and tags only. I am indeed afraid it may be a bug.
Would it have anything to do with the fact that I'm on a Mac? I've tried with both Safari and Firefox.
(As an aside, I'm having a real hard time uploading my image for that one too. It's the same size as every other image I've uploaded, but keeps timing out.)
Keep me posted! -
Inappropriate?Hi Jocelyn--
Would you mind sending us an email at trazzler@trazzler.com (disregard the autoresponse) with the exact text you were using for the links including the code and with the photo attached. That way we can fix your trip and see if we can figure out where everything went to awry.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem.
best,
Megan
