I'm afraid of Cheaters for NYCGO!
Forgive me, I have a lot of time on my hands to obsess about this contest. I see on the rules there's a limit of five entries per household (based on IP address). SO are there people out there voting for themselves five times on different computers, using their dog's name or something of the like? Is there a way to check that?

Inappropriate?Hi Meredith--
Good question.
Yes, we can track the IP addresses for all wishlisting. We can also track when, how, and where accounts that wishlisted a given trip were created. We'll be scrutinizing everyone in the top ten to make sure there was no foul play.
best,

Inappropriate?Totally got hate mail for asking this question. Who knew writing could make all the cat claws come out?

Inappropriate?hi, i was just reading over the rules about wishlisting - i didn't realize there was a limit as to how many votes can come from the same household. this is a problem, as i already live with 4 other people who have voted, plus my friends have been signing up on my computer whenever they've been over this past week (basically because i've hounding them to vote and they figured it was easier to do it then instead of forgetting when they went home). should i have them delete their accounts and then re-sign up from their home computers? am very concerned about this, as you can imagine. i do not wish to be disqualified. please advise. i think 9 votes have come from this same IP address.

Inappropriate?what if you have no idea this is happening? Some people don't read all the rules your send them and most, I have noticed, are baffled by the computer and wouldn't understand anyway. Thanks for keeping up with all our petty worries!
I’m thinking there are a lot of "what ifs" to entertain in life.
