Shouldn't written trips be part of "Travel Personality?"
Hello Trazzler.
It doesn't seem like trips I've written add to my travel personality. It seems like they should. If I've enjoyed an area enough to write about it, it means that it is my sort of place.
Is there a reason I'm not seeing that trips I write don't contribute to my personality?
Thanks,
Galen

Inappropriate?Hi Galen--
Yes, absolutely. We're about to launch a new recommendation engine that will make much better use of your travel personality and it will include written trips (as well as wishlisted and recommended trips). Glad you are one step ahead of us... that must mean we're on the right track!
best,

Inappropriate?Excellent. I figured all of y'all were working on it, but wanted to make sure. Another thought- will it possible to take certain words off of a travel personality? I won't need the search engine only sending me recommendations written by freelance writers (freelance being my major personality feature.)
And yes, it does seem like you Trazzlers have been on the right track (that's why I keep visiting Trazzler.)
Anyways, thanks for the rapid response. Y'all are pretty good that way.

Inappropriate?Hey Galen--
Another good point. We started using tags for all sorts of less-than-exciting editorial tasks on the site. We'll be eliminating those "internal tags" from the travel personality in the next round, so that only relevant tags are considered. It should work a lot better.
best,
Megan
