Trazzlers should get bragging rights!
As a fellow travel addict and therefore a willing enabler of travel addiction, I had an idea - how about a way for members to acknowledge trazzles they've done/seen/experienced, and can somehow vote or comment on, or maybe even add to? I don't love the commenting idea, as it can get messy and rife with those who wish to publicize. And voting is so American Idol. But, I like being a part of a well-traveled community who share my unbridled love in the type of experiences that are featured on Trazzler, and I know how travelers love to brag about having been places. Perhaps for each member, a category not only for wish lists, but for "been-there-done-that"s? LOVE this site and am anxiously awaiting the candy bar with the golden ticket that says I may eventually start submitting my favorites trazzles. I already have a list and everything; and, from what I've seen of Megan's submissions, we've probably crossed paths in a crepe-eating fugue state of YUM. Anyway, just an idea.
(OMG just got email, gotta go.)

Inappropriate?Hi Miss Expatria--
We are pondering some of these very ideas (and once had a "been there" button--I think a come back is in the works).
Also, there are big plans to launch a Trazzler Facebook application that we're hoping will get the community side of things hopping by allowing you to send trips to friends, see which trips your friends are interested in, and even analyze your "travel compatibility". Even if you aren't a Facebook type, we're planning to have a lot more community-oriented features on Trazzler.com, as well. We've got big plans! (Do we really sound as kooky as Willy Wonka?)
I love your trips (as far as I know, you are the first person to actually nominate a sommelier as a landmark).
Hey, not only could we have we crossed paths in France's down-and-dirty creperies, I once lived in your lovely French town (across from the préfecture and directly over a bread oven on rue Eugène Lisbonne).

Inappropriate?Ha! If you saw that sommelier, you wouldn't be so surprised. It takes quite a man to make me stop dead in my tracks when there's a plate full of homemade chicchetti in front of me. I wanted to write that trip about the food, but alas, I cannot tell a lie - he's the draw.
A Montpel alum! How did you ever make it out of here with your liver intact?
I am having SO MUCH FUN loading up my trips, and will be sure to add more as they come to me. I'm having a devil of a time loading my pics, but I hope to figure it out soon.
I really hope you bring back the "been there" component in some form, whether here or on Facebook - I was dying to comment on your trips, wanting to say, like, OMG I KNOW THAT, IT'S SO AWESOME. But, that's just the travel addict in me.
I'm so grateful to come across a site like this. I think the Internet is ready for a new era in Internet travel rating, writing, information sharing.
I’m even more jazzed than I was earlier.

Inappropriate?Leave Montpellier with my liver intact... doesn't that damage often take decades to show up? Only time will tell. (And I'm sure living in Madrid doesn't help much.) Montpellier really is a great town.
Thanks for "getting" Trazzler. We really like smart travelers like yourself to keep us on our toes. -
Inappropriate?Great idea, MissExpatria. I also think it would be cool to keep track of how many people have done a particular thing/visited a certain place, so people can see which ones a lot of people have visited. And I think a basic review system would work though (liked, sucked, ok). Combining those would be cool to see how many people liked/disliked a certain place.
