iPhone 3G app crashes constantly
The iPhone app sits at a blank screen for about 20 seconds then crashes back to the springboard. I have tried removing and reinstalling the app and the same thing happens. iPhone 3g jailbroken UK

Inappropriate?this could be possibly something todo with the current state of your SMS database, it may resolve itself as I've seen something similar but couldn't reproduce it reliably and it went away after getting a new SMS or possibly deleting some using the regular SMS app.

Inappropriate?Another thought, do you have a lot of SMS? Maybe we're struggling to handle very large SMS databases, we've tested on iPhones with a couple of 100 SMS but not a lot more than that.1 Comment

It has been a year , yet this crashing behaviour is observed of the app.

Inappropriate?HI Ethan, We narrowed down the problem to being related to really big SMS databases - it may also be related to 3.0 software which the app having been made in the 2.0 era probably has issues with. We don't have any plans to update the iPhone app right now because of the need for Jailbreaking. We're waiting until there is official support in the SDK for this kind of app before we look at it again.
