Is there a way to retrieve my text messages from my phone?
I often want to get information out of my saved messages from my phone. Is there a way I can do this without going online with my phone, like maybe by text messaging a special code to Treasuremytext? Or even just reading my whole Textstream by text message? Thanks!

Inappropriate?I think that this would require the TMT server to send you text message,s which, in turn, you'd have to pay for (obviously).
Another way would be for you to get mobile Internet on your phone and read the messages thru the mobile site -
Inappropriate?im frustrated, ive just lost every message on my sim card :( and wont to send the few i have saved back to my old phone which im currently using, but have no idea how two :(
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?joey,
you can just put in a SIM into your old phone and then forward the messages you have to one of these numbers:
The Netherlands
+31 621 224 580
UK** & Rest of the World
+44 7781 486 064
USA & Canada
(203) 434-0893
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Oops, sorry joey, I mis-read your question the other time around.
You can send the text messages you have stored inside of TMT by copy-pasting them into the "send SMS" textarea and then sending them off.
Be advised: each time you cross 160 letters, you will be charged one credit.
I’m helping. even though it is a week too late.

is their any chance of me geting back a few picture messages i recieved back onto my phone.. i deleted them by accident a few months ago, but am eager to get them back.. is their such a way ? -
@Tayy it's not possible to restore a message from your phone if you already deleted it and haven't saved it yet on Treasuremytext. TMT doesn't support picture messages, but you could try http://www.shozu.com for that. Basically if you want to keep stuff save it online somewhere first before you delete them from your phone. -
Inappropriate?Copying a pasting is a bit tricky as of now because of the drag n drop behaviour of messages. I've seen on Skitch a button which copies the contents to your computers clipboard/pasteboard which would seem to be the way to go. I guess it's only a line of javascript.

Inappropriate?copy-pasting is in fact possible (at least in FF) if you hit F3, then type the first few words of the message you want, then press SHIFT and down-arrow / right-arrow until you have selected the whole message.
It is complicated, but it works :)
I’m providing alternate solutions

Inappropriate? There's potential for a 'Restore' to phone button on each message which would send it by SMS as Kerim said. The downsides are you would lose the original time although we can set back the original number if you've set up the contact. We may have to work on some safeguards though around this to prevent message spoofing.
