messages sent to US subscribers do not show my number
I just sent a text message to a friend of mine in the US and they did not receive my number as "sending party" but rather had "sms@heysystems.com" listed as the sender.
What gives?

Inappropriate?Haysystems is the name of our SMS service provider. My suspicion is that the destination network is not GSM and is something like Verizon or Sprint. These networks are incompatible with the standard SMS sent from a GSM network and so the sender doesn't come through as your number. This is just a limitation we have talking between GSM and CDMA networks.
