Printing saved texts
When printing a page of texts, the header information (Sent by X at 21:58, Monday 26 January 2009) appears larger than the text content and so rather drowns it out. The text content also uses a very small font which will be hard for some people to read. Any chance you could increase the font size for the text content?

So thanks for being so kind in the original analysis, I took a look and it looked like crap, we haven't tended to that css for a while. I've fixed it up and removed a lot of the junk that you don't need when printing. Shouldn't look so bad anymore in IE7.

Inappropriate?Hi Christian, please can you tell us what browser / OS you're using? I just did a quick test and it's fine on my mac.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hi Katie. I'm using Windows XP with IE 7 (v 7.0.5730.13).

Inappropriate?Hi Paul - that is certainly an improvement. However, when printing a page of texts, I am only able to fill just over a page of A4 which means that there is considerable scope for increasing the font size further.
Also, I tried printing a folder which contains seven pages of texts but am only able to print one page at a time which means that each page has 'Page 1' on it. It would be better of course if all the pages printed in one go and were numbered 1 through 7. -
Inappropriate?Yes all it does is reformat the page with a different style sheet to make it better presentable for print. Until we come up with something better one work around to get more of your texts on a printed page is to increase the number of messages it shows per page.
You can do this in Profile + Settings > Preferences and up this to 50. I think the default is 25.
I’m OK

Inappropriate?Hi Paul - thanks for that suggestion. Increasing the number of messages per page from 10 to 25 helps to fill a page of A4 when printing. In fact, it fills 1 & 1/3 pages to be precise. This means that the second page is largely blank. You then have to repeat the exercise for the second batch of 25 texts and so on.
Reason this printing thing interests me is that if I wanted to print off a romantic exchange (let's say) and give it to someone as a memento, it would be nice to have the option of printing off the entire exchange in one continuous sequence, either oldest to newest or newest to oldest - rather like printing off a Word document, and with each page being correctly numbered rather than a series of P1,P2,...P1,P2 etc. And how about the ability to apply a background or print template with roses or champagne corks or pictures of storks or whatever? Sorry if my imagination getting the better of me! -
Inappropriate? Thanks, that gives better insight into what you're trying todo. I think this is a seperate feature. I think to do what you're thinking we should make it look kinda prettier and do something nicer with it. I think we'd charge for this :)
